In the 2010s, companies began releasing live-action movies that just happen to be based on the same source material that Disney adapted previously. Coincidentally, Disney had been releasing live-action remakes of their popular films at the time. These aren't rip-offs, they just happen to be based on the same stories Disney did, and just happened to be released when Disney was doing live-action remakes. Honest!
